Merusaka Nusa Dua and ITDC Champion Youth Empowerment on National Children’s Day
NUSA DUA, BALI – JULY 23, 2025 – In a vibrant celebration of National Children’s Day, Merusaka Nusa Dua, a 5-star beach front resort, partnered with the InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) to host an inspiring educational event. The “GM Teaches” initiative welcomed 100 students from SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan and 10 students from SLB Negeri 1 Badung for a day dedicated to learning and future possibilities.
An Engaging Program for Future Leaders
The event, held in the Suluban Meeting Room, was designed to provide students with a unique insight into the world of hospitality. The day began with a guided tour of the Merusaka resort, followed by a captivating dance performance from the students. A key highlight was the remarkable woodcrafting exhibition by students from SLB Negeri 1 Badung, showcasing their impressive talent.
The program’s core, the “GM Teaches” session, featured a presentation by Mr. I Made Agus Dwiatmika, General Manager of The Nusa Dua, on sustainable tourism. Following this, the Merusaka management team delivered a talk on careers in hospitality, aiming to inspire the students and broaden their horizons.

The collaboration reflects a deep commitment to community and education from both organizations. Representing the hotel’s management, Ibu Agung Aryawati, Executive Assistant Manager of Merusaka Nusa Dua, shared her perspective.

As a final gesture, through interactive Q&A and Trivia Sessions, the resort gifted the students Day Pass Vouchers for the pools and exclusive vouchers for lunch or dinner. Then, The day concluded with a group photo, capturing the shared spirit of a memorable National Children’s Day.
